Quaker City Figure Skating Club
Since 1966, the Quaker City Figure Skating Club has been skating out of Melody Brook Ice Skating Rink. Quaker City was one of the first of seven clubs in the nation which were formed in 1921. Quaker City is a member of the USFSA (United States Figure Skating Association). Today, there are 296 figure skating clubs in the United States representing more than 40,000 members.
The members of Quaker City practice daily advanced skating, such as jumps, spins and other Olympic-style skating as they participate in different skating competitions in the Delaware Valley.
